Aside from re-using technology, DMD Systems breaks obsolete equipment down to very simple components that are sent to approved vendors for recycling. This allows those same materials to be melted and re-used in manufacturing of new computers or electronics.

Plastics are ground down and re-used in plastics manufacturing. Circuit boards are recovered for precious metals, such as gold. Wire and cabling are separated from the insulation and used in making new cable. CRT monitors are re-used as Televisions or new monitors after internal components are repaired, if the monitor cannot be repaired, the glass is crushed and sent the manufacturer for use in future monitors and televisions. Batteries are recycled for their lead content and remanufactured for use in the same systems. Boxes and cardboard are shredded and used as packaging for orders in our warehouse. All other materials that are not mentioned above are recycled as well in order to maintain a green environment.
