Below is some information about the different charities that DMD Systems Recovery supports: Liberty Wildlife: Liberty Wildlife is committed to nurturing the nature of Arizona by providing quality wildlife rehabilitation, environmental education, research, and conservation services. DMD Systems Recovery has donated computer systems and computer support services since 2000. They have provided updated systems and network support to help assist the employees of Liberty Wildlife to be on the cutting edge of technology. Rancho Feliz: The Rancho Feliz Charitable Foundation, Inc., was founded in 1987 by brothers Gil and Troy Gillenwater. It was initially formed to provide food, clothing and shelter to abandoned children in Mexican/American border towns. Over the years, Rancho Feliz has grown to the point where its principal focus is providing American volunteer groups with the opportunity to better themselves through serving the less-fortunate. In 2003, DMD Systems Recovery donated the infrastructure and support to create a six computer lab at the Guardian Warrior Dormitory for the students to use after school. In 2005, DMD Systems Recovery also donated 24 computers, a server, projector, and smartboard for use in a private elementary school in Agua Prieta, Mexico. These systems are used by the students sent to that school through the Rancho Feliz scholarship program. In 2008, DMD Systems Recovery donated 44 computers to Rancho Feliz which were distributed throughout the Vecinos Dignos Housing Program to provide Internet access to the children and adults living in the community. The Crossroads: The Crossroads, Inc. is a non-profit organization created to provide food, shelter and rehabilitative services in a safe, healthy, clean environment for men and women who suffer from alcoholism and other chemical dependencies and who express a desire and are willing to go to any length to achieve and maintain sobriety. Additionally, Crossroads, Inc. is responsive to the needs of the community in developing alcoholism and other chemical dependency related services which are within its capabilities to provide. This recovery community, founded on the concept of human dignity, is based on the tradition and values set forth by twelve step recovery programs. We are committed to living a clean and sober life through education, healing, and social action. Since 2002, DMD Systems has been helping The Crossroads in many different ways, from computer donations and IT support to serving on the board and assisting with fundraisers. Sojourner Center: Sojourner Center was founded in 1977 as an emergency program for women who had recently been released from prison. A passionate group of twelve visionaries recognized that women who were leaving the criminal justice system rarely had the skills or support to be successful in the outside world. At this time, DMD Systems Recovery has donated computer systems that are placed at the campus to give the residents an opportunity to access the Internet. New Arid Club/Human Services Campus - Arizona: The New Arid Club's mission is to provide a safe and comfortable space where recovering alcoholics and addicts can find support, fellowship, and guidance. They host 12 step meeting and provide a general support network for recovering alcoholics and addicts. DMD Systems Recovery has donated computers and laptops for the New Arid Club when it re-opened. The systems allow their whole staff access to their internal network. O'Connell Youth Ranch: O'Connell Youth Ranch is designed to give young boy a second chance for a fresh start in life and often succeeds with it's proven Family Teaching Model program. They strive to provide a safe and caring Christian family environment for troubled boys. It was established in 1975 through a generous land gift from Mrs. Elsie O'Connell. In 2003, DMD Systems Recovery donated five computer systems to the boys at O'Connell Youth Ranch. Weldon House: In 2002, the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence received a $100,000 donation that was used to purchase a six unit apartment complex that was to be used to house pregnant and parenting women. The Weldon House is innovative in that the women with their children have their own fully furnished apartment that provides them with a setting on how to manage a home. In 2008 DMD Systems Recovery provided the Weldon House with 4 computer systems and 3 printers. These systems provided access to educational courses and assist with job searches. At DMD Systems Recovery, we encourage all of our employees to be envolved with various philanthropic endeavors.
