While most states do not have stringent e-waste disposal laws, the federal government does require that all federal agencies use electronics recyclers certified to in either R2 or e-Stewards. In order for your organization to guarantee compliance on a national scale, it is recommended that you abide by the same policy when choosing a disposal partner.
