As a leading IT Asset Disposition (“ITAD”) provider, DMD helps organizations extend the useful life of technology whenever possible before recycling, creating better financial and environmental outcomes. As a global operations and supply chain executive, Johnson brings nearly two decades of experience leading large-scale manufacturing, engineering, automation, operations, and supply chain organizations. He currently serves as Senior Vice President of Global Supply Chain at Assurant and has previously held senior leadership roles in global operations, engineering, automation, and device lifecycle management. “Brandon brings a fresh perspective to our Board, combining deep expertise in automation and next-generation technologies with a genuine passion for our industry,” said Aaron Zeper, CEO of DMD Systems Recovery. “That outside perspective will help us challenge conventional thinking and find new ways to improve reverse logistics outcomes.” Johnson's appointment comes at a pivotal time for DMD as the company expands its services, recovery programs, and market presence. Demand for secure, sustainable, and financially optimized ITAD solutions continues to grow as organizations seek greater visibility into their asset processing and higher returns from retired technology assets. “DMD has built a strong reputation helping customers unlock more value from retired technology while maintaining a relentless focus on trust, transparency, and execution,” said Johnson. “I'm excited to join the Board and support the company's mission as it continues to expand and innovate.” **Why This Matters** As AI infrastructure investments accelerate, data centers expand, and technology refresh cycles shorten, organizations are increasingly looking for partners that can: - Maximize their asset recovery value - Reduce data security risk of retired assets - Ensure audit compliance - Minimize environmental impacts by prioritizing reuse over recycling The addition of Johnson reinforces DMD's commitment to combining operational excellence and innovation with forward-looking leadership. His experience overseeing global supply chains and technology lifecycle programs will help support DMD's strategic priorities, including customer growth, service innovation, [circular economy](https://www.dmdsystems.com/reuse-first-itad) advancement, and [expanded market](https://www.ascdi.com/dmd-systems-recovery-acquires-lifespan-technology-expanding-its-reuse-first-itad-platform-across-north-america/) reach. ![avatar](https://www.dmdsystems.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Blue%20Shirt_Short.png?width=290&name=Blue%20Shirt_Short.png) #### [Beth Ard](https://www.dmdsystems.com/news/author/beth-ard) Beth Ard leads marketing strategy and brand development at DMD Systems Recovery, helping translate complex IT asset disposition topics and industry developments into practical insights that support informed decision making.
