Declaration of Interdependence

DMD firmly believes businesses should be a force of good in the world. No longer should environmental and social responsibility be in a lower bracket of importance but at the forefront of all companies and organizations. This is an easy statement to make, one that any company could claim to embody. How do you back up this claim? 

In 2020, DMD received its B Corp Certification. B Corp Certification is a premier certification that measures a company’s entire social and environmental performance. This certification cannot be bought, only earned through a lengthy application process where only 1 in 3 companies successfully receive the certification. 

Companies who receive this certification are leading the change within the economy, bringing new values to the table. Values include: 

  • That we must be the change we seek in the world. 
  • That all business must be conducted as if people and place mattered because they do. 
  • That, through their products, practices, and profits, businesses should aspire to do no harm, and benefit all. 
  • To do so requires that we act with the understanding that we are dependent upon another and thus responsible for each other and future generations. 

How has DMD demonstrated responsibility? 

All IT assets that pass through our company’s door are tracked and logged within our portal. This ensures total transparency with how the item is being handled. 

DMD provides a certificate of destruction for each device, which certifies the proper means of data destruction were provided. This ties the device back to the physical wipe log. 

A secondary certificate of recycling is given for each device recycled which ensures proper disposal according to state and federal regulations. DMD has a strict zero-landfill policy - all devices will be responsibly recycled or reused. 

Donations distributed throughout the community, including animal shelters, schools, children in foster care, food drives, and domestic violence shelters.
