DMD Systems Recovery Wins 2022 General Dynamics Small Business Award

DMD Systems Recovery Inc. (DMD) is recognized by General Dynamics as a 2022 Small Business Award winner. This award represents the top small business suppliers who successfully support General Dynamics’ defense and government customers. General Dynamics partners with more than 22,000 small businesses and only awarded 8 companies with this year’s small business award. General Dynamics supports defense and government customers where performance can be a matter of life or death.

DMD has provided hardware asset management (HAM) services to General Dynamics for ten-plus years. DMD supports IT assets across several government entities with retrieval, repair, retirement, and redeployment. DMD’s contributions to proper hardware asset management ensure the safety and protection of General Dynamics’ customers and those they serve.

“Our customers say it better than we ever could. Winning an award based on the IT asset management (ITAM) we provide validates our service evolution from IT asset disposition (ITAD) only to ITAD plus ITAM, HAM, or other acronyms used to describe the lifecycle management of deployed IT assets,” says Aaron Zeper, CEO of DMD. “While we have provided this service for ten years, we are seeing an explosion in the popularity of this type of program for the Fortune 5000.”

DMD continues to develop programs assisting companies with the entire lifecycle of their IT assets. With massive disruptions to supply chains over the past few years, more organizations are looking for help to ensure resiliency and flexibility. This program for General Dynamics was a foundation from which we continue to iterate and evolve.

As stated by General Dynamics, “General Dynamics Mission Systems is committed to developing and strengthening our partnerships with innovative and capable small businesses. These partnerships are no longer just nice to have. They are critical to accelerating the pace and diversity of innovation in this country. There has never been a more important time for us to double down on the opportunity to collaborate and work together with small businesses.’ Said Ann Rusher, vice president of Supply Chain Management for General Dynamics Mission Systems. “Together we can be a force multiplier to rapidly respond to our customer’s growing needs for new capabilities. We are proud to partner with so many suppliers who not only share our passion for innovation but also our commitment to meeting the customer’s critical mission needs.”
